Welcome Our site serves as an information source about the profession of Psychiatric Nursing and its regulatory body to the public of Manitoba. It acts as a major communications tool between the CRPNM and Registered Psychiatric Nurses in Manitoba.

Over the past three months the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM), the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM) and the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) have been working collaboratively on a document to interpret the scopes of practice of each of the three nursing professions. The purpose of this joint document is to promote understanding of the concept of scope of practice, how scopes of practice differ among the three nursing professions and the factors to consider when making decisions about the utilization of all types of nurses.
