The College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM) exists to protect the public. The CRPNM regulates the psychiatric nursing profession by setting standards for psychiatric nursing education and practice and ensuring that those who practice as Registered Psychiatric Nurses or Graduate Psychiatric Nurses are qualified and competent.
Manitoba students who are in the final term of the Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing (BScPN) program at the Brandon University are eligible to apply for the Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Canada Examination (RPNCE) when they have started, or are about to start, the final practicum of the program; and they have established eligibility for registration with the CRPNM. If you are a Manitoba applicant who has completed all of the requirements of the BScPN program and have applied to write the RPNCE, you are eligible for Graduate registration. Use the links below for further information.
If you are a psychiatric nurse who is registered or eligible for registration with another Canadian Psychiatric Nursing regulatory body, this section of the website is also for you.
