Registered Psychiatric Nurses contemplating working in the growing field of Aesthetics must be aware of and adhere to the requirements under the RHPA as it applies to the reserved acts and the administration of aesthetic procedures and treatments. RPNs must also adhere to federal regulations surrounding the control and authorization of aesthetics/aesthetic procedures and the consider the implications of aesthetic practice whether in independent practice or part of a multi-disciplinary team.
