CRPNM Members
The CRPNM is mandated, by the government of Manitoba and the Regulated Health Professions Act, to carry out its activities and govern its members in a manner that serves and protects the public interest. The Act sets out, in law, the powers, duties and responsibilities of the CRPNM, its members and their employers.
The CRPNM aims to promote good practice and to prevent poor practice by supporting RPNs to meet the Code of Ethics and Standards of Psychiatric Nursing Practice and by administering the registration processes and the Continuing Competence Program.
When necessary, the CRPNM protects the public by addressing complaints that are brought against Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Graduate Psychiatric Nurses or former Registered Psychiatric Nurses.
