The College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM) is the regulatory body for the psychiatric nursing profession in Manitoba. The CRPNM is mandated, by the government of Manitoba and the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Act, to carry out its activities and govern its members in a manner that serves and protects the public interest.

The College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba regulates the psychiatric nursing profession to protect the public by ensuring safe, competent and ethical practice.
The Board is comprised of members of the CRPNM elected by their peers and members of the public appointed by the Board or by government.
The Board establishes committees, such as the standing committee to recruit and select public representatives or the standing committee that approves psychiatric nursing education programs.
